So, I am at such a crossroads with the boys. This really came to light over the Easter weekend. The boys are getting to the age where it is obvious they are both SO over the holiday "Character" thing. The night before Easter Dawson lost a tooth, so before he went to bed this is what I found myself saying to him...... "Time for bed Daws, don't forget your tooth for the tooth fairy and oh ya, we need to leave your Easter basket out so the Easter Bunny will fill it ". He seriously looked at me like "are you freakin kidding me lady!!. But, being the great kid he is, he nicely replied "ok Mom". And of course the next day he had a few bucks from the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny had come with a basket full of goodies and even a Easter egg hunt. So I think this all comes down to the fact that the boy's don't want to hurt my feeling's by saying " Aah, Mom we know the truth" (which I know they do) And the fact that I am to chicken to tell them everything because then they aren't my little boys anymore. Well, after bringing this whole thing to Eric's attention he seriously said " Ya, Dawson is too big for this stuff" and then called Dawson down to talk to him. Well at this point I start crying and repeating over and over " you can tell him about everything, just not Santa"(even though I'm pretty sure he knows about that too, I just emotionally can't face that one yet). Seriously, as Eric is walking away from me I am sobbing "Not Santa, please not Santa". So after a quick talk from Dad (and yes, he did know everything, and no they didn't talk about Santa, yet) Dawson is in the clear. We decided not to have the "TALK" with Mason quite yet, even though I am sure Dawson told him everything. Time for Mom to let her little guy's grow up. This SUCKS!

Our Caribbean Vacation!!
For my Birthday this year we went on a Caribbean cruise. We had such a great time!! We were so exited that my Mom and Dad decided to join us as well. We started our adventure with a short stop in New York. We were able to spend a few hours with Cathy and Kamilah at the airport. It was so great to see them!! We then flew to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where we spent a few days sightseeing. We visited some great islands on the cruise. Antigua, St.Kitts, Barbados and St. Lucia were our ports. We loved them all. Here our a few pictures of our amazing time. I quickly have to thank my hubby for such a great birthday! He works so hard to give his family the best. Love you Hunny!
