WHAT A NIGHT!!!!

Mason getting his ball signed by Dennis Pitta

Is Dawson exited to get Max Hall's autograph or what???
Hanging out with Dennis Pitta
Another with Max Hall
Max Hall again
Hanging out with the lineman
More autographs for Mas!
Mason could not believe how HUGE the lineman were.
Coach Mendenhall was busy doing interview's.
Oh, do I have 3 excited boys in my house tonight!! Eric and the boys, along with Mason's Football coaches and their sons, were able to meet a few of the BYU football players today. Although we are DIE HARD Ute fans, they were still thrilled to spend a few hours getting to know the BYU players. They arrived in Provo this afternoon and were taken to the field to watch the team's last few hours of practice. They were able to talk to the players and get football's signed!! 3 member's of the team even joined them for dinner afterwards. They are in HEAVEN!! I am being told that the highlight of the day was getting to meet Max Hall and Dennis Pitta and get their autographs. Here are a few pictures of their amazing day........

WHAT'S IN MASON'S POCKET'S ??

Is is just my kid, or does every boy hoard weird thing's in their pocket's. Mason always has stuff in his pockets. If they ever bring back the show "Little Rascals" he could totally get the part of the goofy, always snotty nosed kid with a frog and 20 other things in his pocket! I decided to take a picture of everything that came out of two, yes two pairs of shorts today. I swear, I could post weekly with all the stuff I find.......... Hey, I just might............
-------------------------------
Here is the list.......
A button ( not so unusual)
A nickle and a penny ( OK)
A pair of head phones ( not sure what he was listening to)
Pilot's wing's ( what is the kid flying? )
Half of a orange crayon ( not a full crayon, half a crayon)
A black rock ( again, not so unusual)
A sucker and starburst wrapper ( he never throws anything away!)
A ball of multi-colored sticky, clay like, stuff ( A little bit weird)
And the best of all.............. A tattoo of a tractor that on the back says "Proud member of the 4H club since 2004" . ( WHAT!!! )
Oh, I love you Mas. Your totally weird, but I love you.

A Crossroads

So, I am at such a crossroads with the boys. This really came to light over the Easter weekend. The boys are getting to the age where it is obvious they are both SO over the holiday "Character" thing. The night before Easter Dawson lost a tooth, so before he went to bed this is what I found myself saying to him...... "Time for bed Daws, don't forget your tooth for the tooth fairy and oh ya, we need to leave your Easter basket out so the Easter Bunny will fill it ". He seriously looked at me like "are you freakin kidding me lady!!. But, being the great kid he is, he nicely replied "ok Mom". And of course the next day he had a few bucks from the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny had come with a basket full of goodies and even a Easter egg hunt. So I think this all comes down to the fact that the boy's don't want to hurt my feeling's by saying " Aah, Mom we know the truth" (which I know they do) And the fact that I am to chicken to tell them everything because then they aren't my little boys anymore. Well, after bringing this whole thing to Eric's attention he seriously said " Ya, Dawson is too big for this stuff" and then called Dawson down to talk to him. Well at this point I start crying and repeating over and over " you can tell him about everything, just not Santa"(even though I'm pretty sure he knows about that too, I just emotionally can't face that one yet). Seriously, as Eric is walking away from me I am sobbing "Not Santa, please not Santa". So after a quick talk from Dad (and yes, he did know everything, and no they didn't talk about Santa, yet) Dawson is in the clear. We decided not to have the "TALK" with Mason quite yet, even though I am sure Dawson told him everything. Time for Mom to let her little guy's grow up. This SUCKS!

Our Caribbean Vacation!!

For my Birthday this year we went on a Caribbean cruise. We had such a great time!! We were so exited that my Mom and Dad decided to join us as well. We started our adventure with a short stop in New York. We were able to spend a few hours with Cathy and Kamilah at the airport. It was so great to see them!! We then flew to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where we spent a few days sightseeing. We visited some great islands on the cruise. Antigua, St.Kitts, Barbados and St. Lucia were our ports. We loved them all. Here our a few pictures of our amazing time. I quickly have to thank my hubby for such a great birthday! He works so hard to give his family the best. Love you Hunny!

WHAT'S GOING ON?

I just thought this was a cute picture of a sleeping Dawson with our also sleeping cat. (I love the way Lucky has his arms wrap around Dawson's hand. So cute!!) So, even though the boy's are not huge Valentine's Day fans, they still humor me by acting a little exited when cupid rings the door bell with a porch full of surprises. We took Dawson and his best buddy Austin to Dinner and bowling for Dawson's Birthday. Here are a few recent going on's in the Stout house!
